Welcome to The Humanity Project!
I originally came to Cairo, Egypt as a way to enter Gaza but like everyone else, became stuck there until the borders are open. I was quickly joined by an international group of volunteers and many local Egyptians as well and we started putting our heads together to see what we could do while we were waiting to get into Gaza. As we started to develop projects and teams and get to work I realized we needed some organization and “Project Humanity” was born. We now have a large What’s App Community where we communicate and have groups from 17 countries.
My vision for this collective is simple…. Let it be a place of peace where like minded individuals from around the world gather in community, support each other and implement projects to assist humanity while amplifying the voices of local voices and organizations. We will operate slowly and methodically with a commitment to doing things the right way and creating a sustainable program which can serve humanity for the “long haul.” This community has started by being in solidarity with Gaza but recognizes that there are needs all over the world and we want to be prepared to respond to these as we grow in size and capability.
This is the place where you can plug in with us, join us on a trip, connect with us on the ground, support us and finally, a place where you can find ways to be involved in this project from anywhere in the world. Enter, “The Humanity Project,” a community of regular people who have come together to spread humanity around the globe!

Family Support Programs
We currently serve over 5,000 Palestinian families who are stranded in Egypt and are facing unimaginable challenges and hardships. Our program aims to address their immediate needs, offering food packages, clothing, medicine and financial aid. We have partnered with LFRP and INARA to ensure comprehensive assistance and prioritize the restoration of their lives and dignity. Join us in this humanitarian endeavor as we strive to alleviate their suffering and contribute to rebuilding their futures. Together, we can make a lasting impact and provide hope for these resilient families in their pursuit of a better tomorrow.
Hospital Support Programs
Our Hospital Support Program is a lifeline for medical evacuees from Palestine in the aftermath of the recent conflict in Gaza and we're currently we work directly with the Egyptian Red Crescent to serve over 2500 patients in various hospitals. Our program offers care packages to patients, including essential medical supplies, such as wheelchairs, walkers, and medicine. Additionally, we provide financial assistance to help alleviate the burden of medical expenses. In collaboration with esteemed partners like LFRP and INARA, we are able to maximize the impact of our program and provide holistic support. Join us in making a difference by supporting our Hospital Support Program.
Mental Health Programs
Our Mental Health Support Project focuses on care for the displaced Palestinians that we work with ithroughout our programs as well as providing support and training for our volunteer teams. The program aims to connect cases with specialists who possess expertise in dealing with urgent needs and complex cases. These trained professionals offer targeted and specialized support, ensuring that individuals receive the appropriate care and attention required for their specific mental health challenges. We are urrently developing a comprehensive PTSD training program which gives professional doctors CME credits.
University Student Program
Our Student Support Program is a crucial initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to Palestinian students affected by the recent conflict in Gaza. Many of these students have tragically lost their family members and any form of financial support. We are here to bridge that gap and alleviate the burden they face. Our program offers direct financial support to help with their living expenses and rent, enabling them to focus on their studies and rebuildtheir lives. Additionally, we have implemented a streamlined process that connects donors directly with the students, allowing for tuition fees to be paid directly to their university accounts.
Volunteer Hub
We are at heart, a networking and volunteer program and our volunteers are packing trucks, sorting through donations, delivering care packages, visiting the injured in all of the hospitals as well as caring for the displaced families with grocery shopping, childcare and more. We also have volunteers from 18+ countries who are working on projects around the world. We organize in our Humanity Project Whatsapp communnity and run a volunteer headqaurters in Cairo where we provide community events for the well being of our volunteers. We've developed a family on the ground and as we work together for Palestine our livesd are forever changed.
Maadi Housing Program
Many cases that come into Egypt through the hospitals or the different embassies end up needing temporary housing and assistance with paperwork. We currently run 5 homes in Maadi where we provide living space, assistance, medical and legal assistance and transportation and translators to get them to their neccesary appointments and assist them in moving on to their final destination. We have homes for single men, women and small children and family homes. We currently. run 5 of these homes. and are in the process of developing 20 more. We have a team of people who work with landlords to find suitable properties that will give us discounted rates.
